Snowrose

Snowrose flowers almost continuously indoors given enough light — small white or pink blooms against tiny, glossy leaves — which is unusual among bonsai subjects grown chiefly for flower rather than structure. It resents being moved or having its conditions changed suddenly, dropping leaves in protest before settling back in.

Indoors year-round below this; a cold draft does more harm than a dim room. Protect it when the forecast drops below 10 °C.

Repotting

Every 2 to 3 years, once nights stay warm, in Apr or May or Jun.

Moderate growth. Hardy in zones 9 to 12.
