Chinese sweet plum

Chinese sweet plum carries small, glossy leaves and naturally flaking, multicoloured bark that develops even on a relatively young trunk, giving an impression of age faster than most tropicals manage. It is unusually intolerant of dry indoor air, needing regular misting or a humidity tray to hold its leaves.
